That’s very flattering of you to say, Uli.
Much ink has been spilled about the evolution of technologies resulting in the machine gun, sewing machine, and movie camera, but that relationship remains fascinating to me. The gun camera is an interesting example of this: designed to provide footage to improve training procedures for pilots, they were largely used in WWII to prove evidence of pilot kills. A lot of the footage from these guns is still available, and I’ve used footage from American and German gun cameras as references for the dogfights in this comic!
