You know, I had my suspicions on the last comic that Siegfried and Brynhildr were once lovers- which I’m pretty sure was a thing in one of the many versions of Siegfried’s story. The amount of vitriol seemed more personal than professional. And yes, the King has more than a little delusional hope about him. But then, he has a great amount of pressure and a great amount of loss bearing down on him, and it seems like it’s been the case for a long time. I don’t know of many people who can keep up with that kind of weight for years. I would like to say now that your work continues to enthrall me. Thank you!
