The castle courtyard! Heldenturm is based on pictures I took of Schloß Greinburg, the fortress in Upper Austria overlooking the Danube River. It was extremely important in managing trade going up and down the river, and was also a stopping point for Crusaders heading out of Europe. If you’re ever in the area, I recommend going to see it! It’s also right next to a really charming (and really really old) theater house and clock tower.
