Interchapter 1: Spain
Let’s take it back a bit. That symbol is the symbol of the Condor Legion, a group of German military personnel sent over to aid the Nationalists during the Spanish Civil War (July 1936-March 1939). For the newly-revitalized German military, this constituted a training ground for fresh troops and an opportunity to try out a lot of new technology. For Spain, it was a very bad time.
